What's For Dinner?
What are you having for dinner tonight? I don't know what we'll end up eating. I was planning to do shrimp scampi on rice, with broccoli and carrots, but Peter favours McDonald's chicken burgers.

Since we had such nice weather today, we decided to bring out the grill and barbecue some chicken. I made some french fries on the side.
I'm afraid it'll be a while before we can barbecue here - we've been getting record rainfall. I love the sound of your food, Kimmy!
We had the McDonald's chicken burgers. Well, it was easy...
It's supposed to rain the rest of the week here too. I'm glad we took advantage of the nice weather last evening. The chicken was wonderful! We have our share of McDonald's at times too;-)
We had baked salmon with a rosemary and anchovy sauce, purple broccoli shoots, parsnips, and potatoes. I am very glad of the chance to tell someone about this because cooking, I find, is an underappreciated business .
That sounds very good, Clare! I can't imagine rosemary and anchovy blended - the combination seems quite exotic.
I enjoy hearing what other people are eating and it helps, too, to add a little interest to our usual menu. I'm usually disappointed in restaurant offerings and it seems that choices for home meals diminish as the picky eaters make their preferences known.
