What Are You Eating?
I've recently been introduced to "Twitter", an instantly-addictive site which asks simply "What are you doing right now?" Taking the lead from them, I'm asking another question: What are you eating?I'm cooking dinner right now - Chicken, marinated in a nice garlic-y homemade teriyaki sauce to serve over Caesar salad. What's on your menu?

Chicken Teriyaki and rice.
Sounds good.
Tonight, it's leeks, mushrooms with sprinkles of cheese on toast here.
More a fridge tidy-up, so sorry to be boring...
Nice seeing you, Susan. I hope you're properly better now.
I'm drinking tea in an effort to warm myself up. But last night I made chicken (floured, fried up in olive oil) with hot sauce (Frank's red hot and butter, one to one ratio). Plus I coated broccoli, onions, and carrots in a mixture of flour, curry powder, chili powder, and thyme and fried them in olive oil. Then I mixed that with mashed potatoes and shoved that mixture into toasted pita. I liked it. No one else did, but I liked it a lot.
I love this! I love hearing what you're eating and it's a nice way to get new ideas too!
Debra, that sounds great! I need to try that sometime.
Jan, I've always wanted to try leeks. Every recipe with them sounds delicious. I bought them once but didn't realize that they pretty much need to be disassembled for cleaning. Is that truly the case, or did I just buy a bad batch?
