Edjucatin' the Boy

My husband isn't really the moron this would suggest, but I quite enjoyed his summary of the United States' population: "All the smart people are on the East coast, the morons are down the middle and the 'flakes' are on the West coast. " Works for me.

I was saying something along similar lines to Cathy yesterday -- she is going to be studying politics at A level next year and is very interested in the processes etc - was asking me about the presidential candidates and I was telling her that man beginning with O and Hillary C. would not stand a chance because of Middle America not being read for the B or the W word -- so had to explain to her about middle America in pretty similar terms to your husband! (My only experience of which is a visit to Indianapolis, incidentally -- the rest of my US experience is with the flakes and the smarts!)

Sorry, I've just remembered, I've been to St Louis also.

Living on the east coast, I have no problem with your husband's opinion! ;)
