Our next-door neighbour, James, is one of those Down-under types with plenty of testosterone to spare. Today Peter left the house early to accompany James on a possible boat buying trip. (Peter knows boats fairly well.) They'll be away all day, taking a ferry to some distant location. I wouldn't consider getting up so early myself, so I left a note for Pete...I had fun with this one.

He's probably so euphoric about the cricket that he didn't even care about these slurs you have cast on his manhood, Susan!

Thank you, Jan, and Merry Christmas to you too!

I should have explained, Peter's very comfortable with my silly treatment. It's quite ridiculous actually, rather like those advertisements you see with a tiny lady dragging some giant football player around by his ear.

Those down-under types clicking tongue noises ;)

A co-incidence again ... you know my kiwi-friend-married-to-my-American-friend who moved earlier in the year and are now living in Victoria? Well ... they are looking at boats-to-buy too!!

Gad you're feeling better. (Not seasick any more? Excuse pun!)

Thank you, Chiefbiscuit! I'm feeling a lot better, but somewhat stressed because I lost a precious week of Christmas preparation time.

I hope everyone understands that this little post was a tribute to a pair of commendable males and my affection for them...

I'm beginning to suspect that your friends have taken different names now that they're in Victoria. They're probably living under the assumed names James and Rose!
