At 8:39 PM, Susan said...: Not only snow, but a prolonged power outage too! We lost power for a few hours last year, so I was more than ready this year... I gathered together enough oil lamps, candles and hand-crank flashlights to see us through a couple of weeks!

I spent part of this evening doing Sudoku by candlelight. Pete lay on the sofa, feet stretched out in front on him, examining his socks. Jon agonized over missing a 'raid' in one of his online computer games. We didn't want to open fridges or freezers so snacking was seriously curtailed. It was Hell! :-)

And the snow continues. Not at all like Victoria. Kimmy, I'd love to be able to wish all this your way!
