November 22
November 22 is the first day of my seventh month as a blogger and the immediate family still hasn't discovered my dirty little secret. They really are thick, aren't they? I'm still getting away with my Spider Solitaire ruse. I keep the game running in the background and when I hear footsteps behind me I switch over from Blogger. Anyone care to bet how long I can keep this up? I'm not sitting in an isolated corner of the house.

Oh excellent, Susan. I love the idea of your blogging in secret.
Could this be a gender thing? I have been blogging for 11 months. At first I was worried that my family would be reading what I write. Far from it. My girls' reaction was the same -- they found out what I was doing, wanted their own blogs, and set them up. Malcolm-- I don't think he would know either. I have mentioned it to him occasionally, as it happens, but if I hadn't, I am sure he wouldn't have a clue what I do when we both spend an evening sitting opposite each other at the table, each with our laptop open....
Ever thought that they may each have a blog of their own?
Congrats Susan, keeping it going that long is a feat in itself, many die out in the first three months!
Hello Susan. It's funny realising that here I am (many miles away) enjoying your posts etc and there's your husband, possibly reading the paper in the next room, totally oblivious to these thoughts of yours...
Congratulations, Susan. My family and friends don't know I blog either but I know they'll soon find out somehow.
Congratulations Susan...but why the secrecy?.......
You'd be amazed. It took me 9 months to discover my partner was having inappropriate online chats with other women -- despite the fact I was sitting in the same room.
