Maxine has pulled it off again! Just when I was starting to worry about my Christmas shopping list, she's come up with the perfect gift for that hard-to-buy-for person.

Oh, Susan, you are too kind to link..thank you so much!

Just before I saw your post I was going through the Cath Kidson catalogue. Does she extend to Canada? www.cathkidston.co.uk

I don't know what to do - I am frozen on Cath K. She's incredibly popular over here in that "safe, middle class, good quality, nothing nasty" way. All schoolteachers love getting end of term Cath K presents. (She's quite expensive).
And I have to admit I quite like her stuff! Although I feel I ought to be horror-struck at the rosy designer tea towels and cutesey baby-wipe holders.
I have never actually bought or owned anything Cath K but I am quite tempted this Xmas. Why don't you take a look at her site and post something to advise me whether to buy or ignore? And if to buy, what? There are quite a few Eeyore-like useful packets and pots, and rubber gloves with flowery frills, etc.

Maybe I should just stick to the horse anatomy after all.

I quite liked some of the china
on her site, Maxine!

Skint writer taught me how to put links into comments; I hope I remembered how!

I particularly like that perky little polka dot teapot!

Yes, Susan, your link worked fine, thanks! I like the china too. I do wish they made their teapots with those filters in them -- so that one can capture the leaves and throw them away easily. I buy teapots from the London Teapot Company (or similar name) but you can only get brown or white from there in the size I use.
Don't get me on tea, I could go on for ages -- maybe we should reconvene at the tea party blog!
