I think Maxine should be back soon. She's been gone two weeks, driving through France. I've spent the last two weeks driving back and forth between home and Costco. Hope it's been a lovely holiday, Maxine!

Don't worry Susan, she'll be back soon - the schools go back next week and I don't think Max will stand another week away from her blog, do you?

I miss Maxine. Things are so quiet without her.

I miss her too. Hope she's back soon. Like Minx says, she won't be able to stay away from her blog too long. I had the same problem when I went away.

At least she's taking a break. I think Maxine is on a treadmill usually. When she writes about her day, it sounds absolutely exhausting! I hope she's had a good rest.

Hey, Susan, thanks for the mention! The idea of spending 2 weeks driving back and forth to Costco and then having the rest of the day to chill out appeals to me a lot, actually! But France was lovely. It was interesting, the 4 of us being "flung together" for 2 weeks without the things we all do at home. Nobody has divorced anyone yet, though.

It is so nice to be missed! Thank you, everyone for your heartwarming comments.

I am even more stressed out and busy than usual since getting back, because I am (1) sooooo behind at work and (2) it is Sept so lots of "kick off" meetings for new projects, involving yet more new work for you konw who and (3) school term started this week, which includes Jenny beginning secondary school. ( (4) Malcolm is immediately away on two work trips this and next week -- does not help!)

However, I am sorely missing reading all your blogs and am desperate to get going on reading them all again on the weekend (tomorrow!). So I'll be back. I'll even have a go at the Set if I can remember how to do it.

Thank you again Susan and everyone, I am very touched by your kind words.
