Eyes Wide!

WHOA! We just had a nice rolling earthquake! It sounded like a truck rumbling down the street. I hope there aren't any more....

The house was really shaking and I thought for a couple of seconds about getting up from the computer to shelter in a doorway. I was busy reading Skint's blog though, so I stayed put.

It hasn't shown up in the media yet.

But Canada's Earthquake tracking site mentions that the earthquake was 3.7 on the Richter scale, but was 44 km deep in the ground. It might have been considered unnewsworthy, as there was no damage, and no damage expected.

Sounds dramatic, Susan. We had an earthquake over here a couple of years ago -- I don't think anyone actually felt anything -- and they haven't stopped talking about it since.

If you get another one, Pundy's comments are very deep and dark! (No disrespect to Skint's blog of course, but Pundy takes the depths to a new dimension -- or perhaps I should say his visitors do!) Come to think of it, Skint being one of said vizzies, so you would be in good company.
