Sorry about that Susan-- don't know what was wrong but sounds like Skint is on the case. Seems to be working again-- let me know if you have more problems (and we'll ask Skint about them 'cause I'm useless!)
Poor James (New Tammany College) was gutted the other day becuase he moved his blog over from Blogger to Wordpress (which is you, Sian, and (one step removed), you Skint, I believe? Anyway, Wordpress promptly crashed for a day or two-- as I found when I tried to post a welcome comment on his blog.
Susan, I have learned that it is generally fairly safe to blame the blog software on occasions like this, as 85 or even 95 per cent of the time it is down to that not the user. Generally the problem resolves itself after a period. If you have the same effect on two blogs using the same host, it is probably the blog not you.
