How are you getting on with that crossword? I am finding that lacking knowledge of US "personalities" and of Debra's academic specialism is somewhat hampering!
I just love some of those clues! I think Debra must have invested in pulp and paper recently - I printed the puzzle and clues out - FOUR sheets! I'll have to Google some of the answers though; my education's not up to it.
I'm really enjoying the puzzle, Debra - you constructed it yourself I take it?
I think I've got it done...just a little unsure on 6-down and 16-across. I loved 25-across and 37-down! You're going to have to start constructing puzzles for the NYTimes, Debra!
My 16-across is correct - I just figured out what Debra meant! Another great clue!
One disadvantate of using an RSS reader is that you can miss comments. Just saw all this. Though, Maxine, if you're reading this: I did just start using co.comments the other day, and it's working for me. Not perfectly. My browser doesn't allow me to view the comments on the co.comments page. But at least it alerts me to new discussions. I don't know if it works everywhere. I assume it wouldn't work with this popup Blogger comment, but I'll check. Oh, duh. It'll work on the permalink page. Good.
